Itinerary

Three days in Sabina (Montasola) to experience the ancient atmosphere of the olive harvest and milling as the ancient tradition wanted.

Sabina oil is in fact one of the best olive oils produced in the world, thanks above all to its low acidity which makes it the king of the table.

Sabina oil is recommended above all to enhance the flavours of our Italian cuisine, especially when used to dress salads.

Come and taste the extra virgin olive oil Sabina DOP. A journey through the taste of the best Mediterranean gastronomic tradition.

Package includes

- 2 nights in an independent apartment
(double room, living room, private bathroom, heating, wooden beams, panoramic terrace);

- Mediterranean breakfast;

- Saturday: participation in the olive harvest; picnic lunch under the olive trees (drinks included); transport of the olives to the mill, milling, bruschetta for tasting the new Sabina DOP extra virgin olive oil.
(Sunday free to visit the olive oil museum of Castelnuovo di Farfa);

The apartments and rooms of the farmhouse are all located in the historic center of Montasola, in the splendid hinterland of Rome, all panoramic, independent and furnished with period furniture.

At the Montepiano farmhouse, guests can experience the simple life of the countryside, between pleasant walks and moments of relaxation, planning excursions into nature or itineraries to discover Rome.

Montepiano Farmhouse is located in an enchanting corner of Sabina a few kilometers from Rome, among olive groves and historic woods.

The company offers hospitality in an ancient and suggestive sixteenth-century building, owned by the family for about three centuries, which is located in the historic center of Montasola.
